Baby Splash and Swim School lessons are safe and easy ways to get your young swimmer comfortable in the water.

Classes Descriptions:

  • Baby Splash

    The cost is $75 for 1 session, consisting of 5 lessons. Parents must be in the water for all Baby Splash levels.

    • Level 1 Beginners
      Basic introduction to swimming and water exploration. Parents/guardians and their swimmers learn:

      • kicking
      • floating
      • safely dipping swimmer underwater
      • using teaching tools (swim belts, barbells, and kickboards)
      • how to safely get in and out of the water
    • Level 2 Dippers
      Pre-requisite: completion of Level 1 or similar skills. Swimmers develop skills from level one, learning:

      • breath control
      • kicking
      • back floating
      • gliding
      • entering/exiting the pool from the side for safety
      • kicking and paddling skills using flotation devices/swim aids
      • how to independently swim short distances on their front and back
    • Level 3 Preschool Prep
      Pre-requisite: Level 2. Swimmers continue the development of skills learned in level two. At the end of Level 3, swimmers should be able to swim short distances independently (without swim aids) on their front and back, and climb in and out of the water safely from the side to prepare for future swimming lessons.
  • Swim School

    The cost is $95 for 1 session, consisting of 5 lessons.

    • Level 1 Paddlers
      3 – 5 yrs, 6 – 8 yrs, and 9 – 11 yrs
      For swimmers who have never had lessons or may be afraid of the water. Swimmers learn basic water safety and pool exploration while introducing:

      • floating
      • kicking
      • gliding
      • breath control
      • getting in and out of the water safely
    • Level 2 Gliders
      3 – 5 yrs, 6 – 11 yrs
      For swimmers who aren’t too afraid and have some experience, including the ability to push off the wall and kick a short distance to the instructor with limited assistance. Swimmers learn:

      • freestyle and breaststroke arms
      • swimming on their back
      • how to swim a short distance underwater using arms and legs, lifting the head to take at least one breath
      • floating on their back unsupported
      • returning to the wall for safety after jumping in the pool
    • Level 3 Swimmers
      All Ages
      For swimmers with basic swimming abilities, who are comfortable in the water, can swim 10 yards on their own, and are looking to improve their stroke and endurance. Swimmers will learn stroke development, including:

      • streamline
      • rotary breathing for freestyle
      • breaststroke
      • backstroke
      • intro to butterfly
      • flip turns
