Leave a Legacy Donations | Home of the Innocents

Make a Planned Gift

The Home could not survive or fulfill its mission without the generosity of our supporters. We know that many people dream of helping the children we serve, even after they themselves are gone.

Help to make our children’s dreams possible with a planned gift.

The Home works with donors to ensure that legacies are practical — and that all of the legal and taxation requirements are met.

Some types of gifts that may interest legacy donors:

  • Bequests made in your will or trust (Visit our 1880 Society page to learn more).
  • Charitable gift annuity.
  • Charitable remainder trust.
  • Life insurance gifts.

No matter how you want to handle your legacy, the Home can devise a plan that suits your needs.

For more information contact or to schedule a virtual tour of the Home and see how your donations make a difference, please contact Julie Spry, our Vice President of Development, at 502.596.1031, or by email at jspry@homeoftheinnocents.org.

We have been blessed with healthy children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We give to Home of the Innocents because we know that the children who live there will always be loved and well provided for in their needs.

Since I first toured Home of the Innocents in the mid 1970s, I have felt a duty to help support these deserving children, who through no fault of their own, have had to face very significant challenges in their lives. A gift through our estate plans is a way for Ellen and me to help sustain the mission of the Home for many years into the future after we have departed.
