Taking care of kids in a community that’s always taken care of us.

Our Aftercare program provides services to young adults from the ages of 18 to 24 and their children. We provide the kind of care and education that can make a huge difference in young people’s ability to care for themselves and their families.

Our experienced and dedicated staff help Aftercare clients develop independent living skills, enroll in and complete education, access community resources, seek affordable housing, and access mental health services.

Participants are expected to fulfill certain obligations in order to benefit from the program. These expectations include maintaining a job, completing education, and weekly contact with their case manager.

The Aftercare program eligibility requirements include being homeless, which includes living in a shelter, on the street or a place not meant for human habitation like a car.

Or, clients can receive K-TAP benefits and be active in the Kentucky Works program.

If you are interested in these services, please contact the Aftercare Program at 502.596.1320. The Aftercare office is located at 325 Baxter Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204.
