Volunteer services

Our volunteers are one of the foundations of our success!  They play a vital role in helping us take care of our kids through a wide variety of ways and we couldn't do it without them! We focus on making sure our volunteers have meaningful experiences as they interact with our kids and staff.  

We offer a wide assortment of opportunities for individuals and groups in all areas of the Home. We accept the following types of volunteers: 

Individuals

• Adults, 18 years old and older - Go to Volunteer Application Process for information to become a volunteer.
• Junior Volunteers, between the ages of 13 and 17 years old – Go to Junior Volunteer Application Process for information to become a Junior Volunteer.
• Interns/Externs/Students - Go to Student/Intern/Extern for additional information.
• Foster Grandparents – (Adults, 55 years old and older) - For information regarding the Foster Grandparent Program, please visit the City of Louisville Foster Grandparenting Program website.
