This seminar will discuss the myths, realities, dynamics, and impact of intimate partner violence. We will explore options and services that are available to victims/survivors. Participants will leave with concrete knowledge, tools and resources to support those who are experiencing intimate partner violence.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will gain awareness of the dynamics of abusive relationships.
  • Participants will be able to identify the types and warning signs of abuse.
  • Participants will become familiar with resources available to victims/survivors.
  • Participants will explore concrete ways to support victims/survivors through referrals and safety planning.
