Behavioral Health Services
In a perfect world, families could always stay together and children could always feel safe and happy. Staff at the Home know that sometimes children and their families need a little help.
Our Behavioral Health Services provide hope to children who have mental health and behavioral needs. Various programs can be provided at home, in school, in the community, and incorporate natural supports at part of each child’s treatment plan.
Targeted Case Management and Intensive Therapy Services may happen in the home or school or other supportive setting in the community. They may include family therapy, individual therapy or collateral therapy—treatments and goals are created by the child, the therapist, and supportive people in the child’s life.
For families at with children at great risk for out-of-home placement, our Family Preservation Services can increase parenting skills through intensive interventions in a 4-week time frame. Offered in Indiana, our staff can prevent children from being removed from their families or enable reunification.
Our Michelle P. Waiver Services focus on Person Centered Services for children with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Based on the principles of self-determination and person-centered planning, these services acknowledge the role of the child and his or her family in planning for the child’s needs.
