Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Academy

In August 2011, Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) started the new school year, and the Home was happy to add the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Academy to the list of schools opening their doors to students. The JCPS school system has always been a good friend and partner to the Home, and has educated many of our residents.

Last year, that partnership grew even stronger.  The Weinberg Academy is a three-classroom schoolhouse which will serve children in the Home’s care. Children’s classroom programming will be administered and provided by JCPS. Outside the school day, this facility will provide essential training and meeting space to meet the needs of Home of the Innocents’ programming and external community groups.
