Pediatric Medical and Dental Services
Home of the Innocents has been providing high-quality, therapeutic care to our region’s most vulnerable children and families since 1880. Through Open Arms Children’s Health, we are expanding our services to provide exceptional medical, dental, and behavioral health care for the whole child. Our approach is simple: respectful support for families, compassionate care for kids.
One Stop Shop:
Open Arms Children’s Health, a new program of Home of the Innocents, is a one-stop-shop for Pediatric services, offering compassionate, expert care for children who are medically fragile, children with Autism, children in foster care, and children with exceptional health needs.
Dental: Services include routine check-ups, cleanings, school screenings and other dental work.
Medical: Pediatric Primary Care for children ages birth to 18, providing immunizations, annual well checks, sick visits, sports physicals, back to school physicals, and more. Lab services are also available for patients.
Radiology: Radiology services can be performed during the medical services. Films are reviewed and interpreted by Kosair Children’s Hospital Radiologist.
Audiology: Hearing testing and treatment services are performed by Heuser Hearing Institute.
Pharmacy: Convenient on-site location with same-day service.
Autism Intervention Services: Therapeutic support, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), designed to help families with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Aquatics therapy: Heated saltwater pool available for therapeutic use.
