Autism is a growing epidemic, not only nationally, but here in the Louisville metro area. Right now, there are thousands of children in our community who have been diagnosed with some degree of this debilitating condition. These families face huge challenges, but experts agree that with the right interventions, Autism is treatable.
The Home of the Innocents offers Applied Behavior Analysis services to children and their families in Kentucky and southern Indiana. Our goal is to not only address behaviors and skill deficits, but to also help facilitate healthy, cohesive, thriving families.
Our staff have extensive training, and utilize Applied Behavior Analysis and related strategies, including parent education, Verbal Behavior education, Functional Communication Training, Discrete Trial Training and Natural Environment Training. All clients receive an individualized therapy plan, based upon a Functional Behavior Assessment conducted by one of our licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
